GSGCF introduced a new Cookie Business Partner Program for the 2024 Cookie Program. Through this program girls expanded their skills by approaching businesses hoping to increase their troop sales and earn Cookie Business Kits. 95 local businesses chose to participate and purchased 7400 boxes to cookies to help the girls reach their goals. Thank you to all the local businesses for supporting their neighborhood Girl Scouts!
Thank you to the 2,277 girls that participated. There was so much hard work put in by the girls, their families, and all the volunteers to achieve their goals and make the 2024 GSGCF Cookie Program a huge success. We had an incredible 17 girls sell 5,000 or more packages of cookies individually! This is an incredible achievement for anyone, and we couldn’t be prouder of these girls for putting their entrepreneurial skills into action to reach and surpass their goals.
This year we surpassed our goal of 1 million boxes, with a 16% increase over last year. Of the 1 million+ boxes an astonishing 50,000+ boxes were donated for our Gift of Caring Program. Our Gift of Caring program donates boxes of cookies to local Hometown Heroes, such as firefighters, police officers, teachers, doctors, nurses, and so many more, and also sends cookies overseas to our deployed military men and women.
